The Journey from Person to Personality

God made a man a mystery unraveled to himself yet all that is truth lies in himself.
The very universe that astounds us with baffling discoveries now has been granted all blessings centuries ago.
Amidst the search of the universe and milky ways, wealth and ocean, skies and heavens, seek to seek your own universe, your own self.
Dive deeper in your sea to reach the bottom of your veracity ~where lies power and purity.
A person is a secret unknown to himself. When the land welcomed Adam’s A.S. step to its surface, it regarded him to explore. To disclose the secrets within the earth, within the air, within the ocean, within the heart. It regarded him to use the land that has been granted to him completely, but most of the things in a hidden manner.
We are the obscured secret of ‘kun faya kun’.The quest of his creation will be answered on the day the person meet his personality.
A person may not be the master of his own wills BUT the personality is. Our secrets lie within us but do we ever try to reveal it upon ourselves?
A person is what the society has made us
A personality is what God has made us.
Create the ripples in your own river in order to purify the water. Let the waves build the storm in your river and that’s how you prosper..
To infer with the words of Iqbal,

تو رازِ کن فکاں ہے، اپنی آنکھوں پہ عیاں ہوجا
خودی کا راز داں ہوجاُ، خدا کا ترجماں ہو جا۔

Difficulties will come, cater them with kindness and that’s how you grow stronger. Do not let the circumstances curse your fate- for the fate is just an illusion created by the people who gave up long ago.
کہ

خبر نہیں کیا ہے نام اس کا،
خدا فریبی کہ خود فریبی،
عمل سے فارغ ہوا مسلمان،

بنا کے تقدیر کا بہانہ-

The Society i want to Live in

'We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give"In the modern era of
advanced technologies, receding empathy is also witnessed. In this very second, I am to
dive into the ocean of a town that I want to live in..But before that, If you lose me somewhere in
between the water, find the sky guiding you back home.
To live literally is to ‘remain alive’. Where remain alive indicates the continuation of drawing
ecstatic breaths. Where each moment surpasses the retreating moment.
Where a burning matchstick sets a row of matchsticks on fire in the zeal of inebriety.
I don’t know exactly how our society, our people and our town should be to call it lively, but I
can trace the footprints that our souls shall not follow. No matter what, we must not follow
pretense.
In the perspective of morality, We need to focus on what we shall not do more than to focus
on what shall we do. We have been too much to be raw, to be real, to be ourselves- Our own
selves.
Everyone knows what’s right, but very few of us know what’s not right and that’s important.
In the name of stability, our hearts are suffering emotional paralysis.
No, we need not be insensitive to be strong. Insensitivity is brittle. Refer to what concrete
does on failure.
Our hearts shall be sensitive to be strong.
Those in the form of ductility- the steel. It can stretch, deform, but too less that it fails. And
then the heart is a sacred place, which when is in its purest form- The Divine Resides.
Our society needs a soul than bodies.
Rekindle the idea of soul and nurture the hearts. The rest is its sequel.
The idea of a town I want to live in is like a bottomless ocean where there are worlds, unlike
our world.
Where the architecture gifts your eyes the flashbacks of ottoman empire in the most futuristic
fashion, all simultaneously.
Where the society has empathy running in their veins. Where we thrive under the truth of
sun and the veracity of oceans.
Where we find our origins and let them guide us towards the exactness.
Where we care to save each child from the hands of brutality.
Where each of us receives the messages of the universe and interpret it.
Where we urge to keep our hearts from being hard just as like the water urges to keep the
rose from drying.
Feel what is human. Feel what is the heart. Feel what is true. And this can only be fulfilled to a
greater extent when altogether we work for the betterment of humanity.

I’m an Engineer

Engineering is not an idea, it's about 'ideas' to happen. I've heard it thousands of times, 'Oh wow you're an engineer.' This statement leads people to think that I'm clever but they ask, ' don't you think that after four years of engineering you'll be nowhere?'

People admire an engineer's practicality but most of them don't know about professional engineering. I personally believe that an engineer or a doctor even after completing their graduation, they have to start from scratch. Engineers are good problem solvers; they analyze, understand and provide a solution. To be honest we are as logical and rational as an uneducated man can be but the difference is that we have the degree in our hands and a polished mind. Curiosity is our daily matter. For us, it is almost hard to believe anything, unless it is being demonstrated.

I used to get up by the roll of eyes indicating engineering as boredom and engineers as a bookworm. Yes, they are socially clueless but with a great sense of humour and an artistic mind. The creativity that withholds the mind of an engineer makes him stand out and produce such outcomes that enhance and improve the social welfare.

And being in the process for graduating as an engineer has definitely changed my perspective about engineering. I believe it is something which by the course of time makes a person capable of finding out their hidden talents and henceforth applying the same in various aspects of engineering feild. I am proudly an ENGINEER.

Internship Days

Being an optimistic, a future civil engineer has decided to explore herself and not to miss a chance to be left out among the competitive individuals. I started my internship at Envision Engineering; a timid inexperience individual has bloomed up here. Envision Engineering has boosted up the confidence for the new comers in terms of practicality, communication skills and gaining experience. I did not realize that I would be getting so much meaningful experience. So soon after my internship began my personal experience with the team turned out to be tremendous. They taught me about the basic traffic modelling, Autocad, designing of parking lots, but at the same time they watered me like a flower by providing me with a home friendly environment, our advisors turned out to be a real inspiration. This thought has given shape to my malleable mind
"If a mistake is made once it is okay but if it becomes a habbit, then that is alarming"
However, I encountered some difficulties working on the task, namely as an undergraduate student I was used to of receiving very detailed step–by–step instructions where I was given flexibility and autonomy.
To work as an intern in Envision Engineering has truly been a great learning experience. The journey is never ending, there is always gonna be improvement growth and adversity.
Thanks to every one as good byes are the hardest but always a hellow to new adventure.

Once upon an internship

Before going to a new place, you set up a picture in your mind as to how the people there are going to be, right? For my internship, I was going to a company and I had an image of the boss and the workplace formed in my mind. But surprisingly, the place was far better than I thought.
What topic of discussion do you expect from the boss of an engineering company? I expected my first session with the owner to be a really dry session, in which the boss would talk about the achievements of his company or telling how great of a man he is, and our interests towards the profession.
But to my great surprise, we didn't discuss any of it.
He asked about our hobbies and why we like doing what we do. He told us that there is innate talent in every one which one can always use in the field of engineering. He explained; suppose a person who is good at writing can always write good reports, a person who teaches can always explain things to others in a better way etc. Somehow he linked art to the profession of engineering. He said "Even if you are dealing with a project alone, there is always one person that you have to manage, i.e. yourself."
Engineering profession, as experienced, always focuses on the engineering concepts but somehow after that first session, I started giving time to hobbies and recognising my talents because now I know I can always relate the art to engineering profession, knowing it will benefit me somehow.
I worked for approximately a month in the firm, the sessions with the boss were less but had such positive impact on me. He was a person who would always see the positive in everything. He was influential.
The other person and the person we had the most interaction with was our supervisor. A good person by heart and always willing to teach us.
Other people were all good and co-operative there. The working environment was very good. Within no time we got adjusted into the environment. The good thing about the company is, they praise you for your work and your ideas are taken into consideration.
I learnt both engineering and valuing art in the company. And it was a really good experience.

Were do you Stand?

Time and time again I found myself questioning; that graduates from any respectable engineering discipline are huge in number but insignificant in professionalism and devotion. They all have the same qualification but how do they distinguish themselves from others over the course of professional career.
I have spent a few days working with engineers of urban and civil disciplines and this makes me identify some unique qualities that stand out in you as a successful engineer. These are:

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ab innovative thought is common but without delivering it effectively it does not remain to be an innovation. Strong communication doesn't mean that they know each and every thing but they do know how to be clear about the outcomes. Such people are good in report writing.

GOOD LISTENER
Everyone wants to be a good speaker but no-one realizes the fact that good listeners succeed in life as they listen to other's problems and come up with an appropriate solution in the welfare of mankind.

ACTION ORIENTED
People who talk about big deals never accomplish as they believe in multitasking and an engineer is always focused on the activities that give them the higher return. They never wait for the right time, they just do it and then modify their next step accordingly.

TEAMWORK
Most of us want to work alone but the engineering world demands 'teamwork' so as to listen to everyone, appreciate their ideas, work, ask questions and then master the task.

These are some of the qualities which engineers built in themselves to elaborate their skills and be the finest amongst the fittest.

When We Were There

I have always believed in the words that
“What you imagine, you create. What you think, You become”.
But this would have remain a rigid dichotomy between my perception and the industrial approach before I joined Envision Engineering as an internee.
To me Engineering is just about how well do you play with the numbers to maximize benefits and creating legacies in the world of technology. Unfortunately, we’ve dived into the sea of myriad numbers that we forgot the ways how to play differently. How to think differently. How to give practicality to our imaginations. We rather choose to make a square than a web. We are subjected to boundaries before even we can imagine.
In a probability of 1 in 400 there exist the minds that are highest in its form. That defies the above common practices and facilitate innovation.
Envision Engineering in its internship program gave me a lot in many aspects. I chanced to meet and learn under such an esteemed individual that i look up to as my mentor. He remained too keen throughout to observe the skills of internees so that to mould their passions into work and to execute the training in productive fashion. While in the three interactive sessions that we had with him, he always tried to make us push the boundaries of our minds towards the bright side of our field. He suggested each of us to explore different majors to pursue in by analyzing himself, our interests. THAT only is enough to refer him as mentor.
The best part was that the working environment was too friendly yet sophisticated.
Talking about the team, every senior that was the part of team was enthusiastic to make the training worth learning.
I am too glad to have been a part of such visionary platform that believes to make effort beyond conventional boundaries.

ENGINEERING MORALITY

"It hurts when you know something is doing wrong and there's nothing you really do about it."

- Cammi Granade

This saying reminds us of the time when one does something wrong knowing how wrong it's ethics are. This is common in organisations where many a times one individual makes an unethical decision while being influenced by other people. However the essence lies in between personal choices and communal ones. I will be lying if I say that I always agree to the terms of our society or authorities in regard to engineering and welfare of the people. This actually makes me rethink; if morality exists amongst the engineer intellectuals?

Engineers confront to moral decisions in everyday lives. Each decision of an individual is justified by emotions and reasoning. It is difficult to separate our hearts from our brain in any particular decision for anyone but engineers are taught to do the reciprocal. Our thoughts are inward statements which lead us to follow the right path along with reasons which are influenced by how people percept and observe their surroundings. Emotions on the other hand are the 'gut feelings' which does not require any further detail such as explanation or reasoning. Because we believe in what is right or wrong. What is good and for whom it is good. And this good usually refers to society, culture, customs, environment etc.

I encourage others to evaluate for this question and have a look upon themselves if there's any conjunction in society for the welfare of people and morality
